Deputy Police Chief Thomas C. Krumpter has been named acting Nassau police commissioner. His title was incorrect in a photo caption yesterday.

CLARIFICATION

A lawsuit made public last week gave examples dating to 2006 of executives at JPMorgan Chase expressing concern about Bernard Madoff's financial activities. How far back those concerns were expressed was unclear in a story Friday.
