Alan Gilbert will conduct the New York Philharmonic and Georgian violinist Lisa Batiashvili in the Sibelius Violin Concerto Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 2 p.m., Saturday at 8 p.m. and next Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Avery Fisher Hall. The listing was incorrect in Sunday's Fanfare.

Peter Sullivan is the Music Committee chairman for the Huntington Men's Chorus. His title was incorrect in an Act2 story Saturday.

First Lt. Joseph J. Theinert, 24, of Shelter Island died Friday in Afghanistan of wounds he suffered when his unit was attacked by a rocket-propelled grenade and an improvised explosive device. A story Sunday omitted the IED and listed an incorrect date of death.
