Pumpkin painting, a Halloween costume parade and a baking contest will be among the events Sunday at the second annual Kings Park Fall Festival.

The festival, part of the weekly farmers market at Church and Main streets, opens at 9 a.m. The market is operated by the Kings Park Civic Association and Friends & Farmers Inc. of Long Beach.

Children and pets are invited to wear costumes and walk in a parade, and cooking demonstrations will be offered at 11 a.m. Baked goods can be submitted for a contest from 9 to 11 a.m., with judging at 12:30 p.m.

Live music will be performed by Joanne Amante and Bobbie Ruth, and author Leann Lavin will sign copies of her book, “The Hamptons and Long Island Homegrown Cookbook,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
