The Mastic Beach Property Owners Association will be hosting country dancing Friday at its clubhouse.

The event is scheduled for 7:30 to 11 p.m. at the association’s clubhouse, 31 Neighborhood Rd. in Mastic Beach.

Double JJ Dance, a country and western disc jockey and dance instructor from Center Moriches, will attend the event, which is geared for all experience levels, the association said in a statement, and dance instruction will be offered for beginners.

“Whether you’re a veteran two-stepper or a beginner, dancing is great fun and good exercise,” the association’s statement said. “It’s also a great way to meet new people and form new friendships.”

The fee is $6 for association members and $8 for nonmembers.
