Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been arrested on a shoplifting charge, accused of taking $123 worth of cologne and underwear from a suburban Dallas department store. He told a police officer he thought to himself, "All right, y'all got me," after a security guard stopped him in the parking lot.

Randle, who is charged with a Class B misdemeanor theft between $50 and $500, was detained Monday evening by store security. He was taken to the Frisco, Texas, jail before posting bond early yesterday, police said.

The arrest came a day after one of Randle's best games since joining Dallas last year as a fifth-round draft pick out of Oklahoma State. He had a 38-yard run and a key tackle on a kickoff in a 30-23 victory over the Seahawks.

According to an arrest report, Randle was caught on video placing items later identified as a "tester" bottle of Gucci Guilty Black cologne and a two-pack of Polo underwear into a Dillard's bag after making a purchase.

Randle, 22, is in the second year of a four-year, $2.3-million rookie contract, with a base salary of $495,000 this season.

Personal conduct talks to go on

Commissioner Roger Goodell and players' union chief DeMaurice Smith agreed to continue discussing changes to the NFL's personal conduct policy after a four-hour session in Manhattan.

In an email to player representatives, Smith said he made it clear to the league that the union wants due process. "While the league currently has great concern for its brand,'' Smith said, "fairness and justice for our members is more important."

Peterson hearing postponed

The hearing on whether to remove the judge in the felony child-abuse case against the Vikings' Adrian Peterson in Texas was delayed to next Thursday.
