Crash closes East Jerusalem Ave. in N. Bellmore

Eastbound Jerusalem Avenue has been closed at Newbridge Road in North Bellmore after an auto accident Tuesday morning, police said.

The accident involved at least one overturned auto.

Nassau County police said details of the crash were still under investigation. It was reported at 8:19 a.m.

It also was not immediately clear if anyone was seriously injured in the accident.

It was not clear how long the road would be closed.
