Cold Spring Harbor's Josh Levine advanced to the state final with a 6-4, 6-4, win over Christian Brothers Academy's Matt Nardella at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows. It is the first state final for the junior, who lost in the semis last year.

In the final, the second-seed Levine will take on No. 1 seed and defending champion Jeremy Court of New Rochelle.

Court defeated Garden City's Zach Morris in the other semifinal, 6-2, 6-0, making no more than a handful of unforced errors during the match. Morris will face on Matt Nardella in the third/fourth place match.

The Hills East doubles pair of Chris Hunter and Eric Bertuglia lost their semifinal match to top-ranked Ben Fife and Austin Kaplan of Scarsdale, 6-3, 6-2. Fife and Kaplan were runners-up at last year's tournament.

Final and Consolation match results to follow later this afternoon.
