Cuomo to hold $25G top-ticket fundraiser in D.C.
A day after pressing legislators for campaign-finance reform, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo held a fundraiser featuring Billy Joel, with top tickets going for $50,000.
Monday, he's slated to hold another campaign event in Washington. Top ticket price: $25,000.
According to the invitation, the committee for the D.C. fundraiser is co-chaired by lobbyist Tony Podesta, whose brother, John Podesta, served as chief of staff in the Clinton White House.
Host committee members include former Long Island congressman Tom Downey, former Kansas congressman Dan Glickman and Mack McLarty, who also served as President Bill Clinton's chief of staff.
