Danielle Margolis, a senior at Jericho High School is our November Scholar Artist

Danielle Margolis,a senior at Jericho High School, is honored to be Jericho’s first Scholar-Artist winner.  She is a member of the National Honor and Spanish Honor Societies and participates annually in Jericho High School’s “Choreo” dance program as both a dancer and choreographer.  Danielle represents her school at The Tilles High School Dance Conference at Long Island University’s Tilles Center for the Arts and has been a medalist at the Long Island Ballet Competition.

 

In addition to her AP studies and active participation in all things dance, Danielle has pursued pre-professional ballet training at Manhattan’s Ballet Academy East and Huntington’s Lynch School of Ballet. She has been featured in major ballet roles in productions of The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Don Quixote, La Source, Les Sylphides, Sleeping Beauty and Walpurgisnacht.

 

Danielle plans to continue her rigorous academic pursuits and dance training when she enters college next fall.
