Deanna DiGiulio, of Seaford High School is the November Scholar Artist for Nassau County

Deanna DiGiulio, a Seaford High School senior, has loved art all of her life since she first picked up a pencil.

Her involvement in art-making includes out-of-school classes at the Huntington School of Fine Arts and Adelphi University, as well as a broad range of art courses in high school.  Deanna’s accomplishments have been recognized by her numerous Nassau All-County Art and art class achievement awards.

Deanna is the current and past-president of the National Art Honor Society, and as an avid musician, is a section leader in Marching Band. She also participates in Tri-M, Pep Band, Flute Choir and Chamber Group. Deanna feels her experiences in the visual and performing arts have broadened her mind and helped her appreciate the determination it takes to be creative and successful.

She plans to study Art and/or Psychology in her college career and may pursue further studies in Art Therapy.
