A week after Babylon Town hosted a run to aid wounded military service members, a local Sons of Italy lodge will host an event for the same charity.

The Constantino Brumidi Lodge’s Hope for the Warriors fundraising dinner is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday at 2075 Deer Park Ave. Tickets are $35, with funds benefiting Hope for the Warriors, a North Carolina nonprofit dedicated to enhancing quality of life for servicemen wounded in the line of duty as well as the families of those killed.

Babylon’s annual Long Island Run for the Warriors, now in its fourth year, was held this past Sunday. It typically draws more than 2,000 participants and raises about $100,000 for Hope for the Warriors.

For information and tickets about Saturday’s dinner in Deer Park, call the lodge at 631-586-3928.
