DeMarco Murray (broken hand) likely to miss next game
NFL rushing leader DeMarco Murray has a broken left hand and might miss Sunday's game against the Colts as the NFC East-leading Cowboys compete for a playoff spot.
Cowboys executive Stephen Jones said Murray would have surgery Monday. Jones said it is "probably a tough expectation" that Murray will play against the Colts, but neither he nor coach Jason Garrett would rule it out.
Saints beat Bears, lead NFC South
The Saints (6-8) took over sole possession of first place in the weak NFC South by defeating the slumping Bears, 31-15, last night in Chicago.
Drew Brees threw three touchdown passes, two to Josh Hill, as New Orleans won for only the second time in its last six games. Jay Cutler threw for two TDs but was intercepted three times. The Bears (5-9) allowed seven sacks in their third consecutive defeat.
RG3 gets his job back
Robert Griffin III is back as the starter for the Redskins, their fifth starting quarterback change this season. Jay Gruden said Griffin will start Saturday against the Eagles.
Cardinals to start QB Lindley
Five weeks removed from the Chargers' practice squad, Ryan Lindley will start at quarterback for the Cardinals against the Seahawks on Sunday night.
Arizona, 11-3 and with a playoff berth already assured, can clinch the NFC's No. 1 seed with a win. Lindley replaces Drew Stanton, who suffered a knee injury Thursday. Coach Bruce Arians estimated he will be back in two to four weeks.

The Texans are scrambling to find a quarterback after Ryan Fitzpatrick (broken leg) and Tom Savage (knee) were injured Sunday. With Fitzpatrick out for the season and Savage ruled out for this weekend, Bill O'Brien must choose between Thad Lewis and Case Keenum, who signed Monday . . .
