Manhasset's Matt Demitroff set the state record for career stolen bases with a steal of second base in the third inning Tuesday in a 6-5 loss to Mineola in Nassau Conference A-II baseball. Demitroff, a senior, has 134 stolen bases in five years and moved past Brenden Myers, who had 133 stolen bases for S.S. Seward from 2002-06. Jimmy Bulva drove in Ryan Jenkins with a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh for Mineola (11-6).

Roosevelt 3, Westbury 2: Alexi Bonilla hit a walk-off single in the seventh to score Gino Guevara for Roosevelt, which won its first game since 2007. Guevara (3-for-4) had hit a two-out triple.

Bellmore JFK 11, Oceanside 10: Robbie Stalzer came into the game with no outs and the bases loaded and retired the final three batters to lead Bellmore JFK (8-9) in Conference AA-I. Danny Lociano went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and Michael Crespino went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, including a solo home run.

MacArthur 6, Mepham 5: Nick McQuail had an RBI single to tie the score at 5 and Mike Koslowski scored from second base on an error to give MacArthur a 6-5 lead in the top of the seventh as MacArthur (14-3) clinched the Conference AA-I title. Steve Luczaj was 2-for-4 with two home runs and five RBIs.

Calhoun 11, Carey 9: Frank Trimarco hit a two-run homer to give Calhoun (13-4) an 11-8 lead in Conference AA-I.

Plainedge 4, Wantagh 3: Nick Cassio's two-out single in the top of the seventh scored Ralph Caccavale to give Plainedge (10-7) a 4-3 lead in Conference A-I.

Locust Valley 5, Friends Academy 3: Tom McNamara hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth to give Locust Valley (15-4) a 4-3 lead in Conference BC. Eamonn Boyd hit a two-run single to tie the score at 3 as Locust Valley scored four runs in the sixth. Will Brennan threw two innings of scoreless relief for the win.

Southampton 2, Mount Sinai 1: Sean Johnson walked, went to second on a sacrifice bunt and scored on Collin Bunniello's single with one out in the top of the 11th to win it for Southampton (11-2) in Suffolk League VII. Ricky Wesnofske went eight innings and allowed no earned runs with four strikeouts and Chris Pike threw three scoreless innings with six strikeouts to get the win.

Hampton Bays 6, Mattituck 5: Robbie King (4-for-5) scored Nick Cannata with a single in the bottom of the eighth to win it for Hampton Bays (3-10) in League VII. Kyle Palazzolo tied the score at 5 in the bottom of the seventh with a run-scoring single. Smithtown East 4, West Islip 0: Matt Gavin allowed a hit with no outs in the seventh inning, walked three and struck out 15 for Smithtown East (10-3) in League III. Alex Federico hit an RBI triple to highlight a four-run fourth inning.

Longwood 2, Patchogue-Medford 1: J.J. Bessell threw a four-hitter, walked one and struck out seven for Longwood (12-2) in League I.

Deer Park 3, Riverhead 1: Adam Maugeri led off the bottom of the fourth with a home run to give Deer Park (2-11) a 2-1 lead in League IV. Joe Paparella's squeeze play scored Maugeri in the sixth. Joe Muenkel threw a two-hitter with four strikeouts for the win.

Chaminade 1, St. John the Baptist 0: Paul Croche walked, stole second and scored on a two-out single by Terrance Connolly in the bottom of the seventh for Chaminade (7-7) in CHSAA. Michael Alas threw a four-hitter with six strikeouts.

Holy Trinity 2, St. Mary's 1: Peter August's two-out single in the bottom of the fifth scored Ricky Van Allen to give Holy Trinity (12-5) a 2-1 lead in CHSAA. Max Almonte threw a three-hitter and struck out seven in the win.St. Dominic 2, St. Anthony's 0: Derek Hirsch had an RBI triple in the first and scored in the sixth on a Spencer Bilello double in CHSAA. Chris Dragone threw a six-hitter with three strikeouts for St. Dominic (7-6).
