The Long Island Rail Road advised commuters that an NJ Transit derailment in Penn Station will likely impact the afternoon commute.
According to the Associated Press, NJ Transit says a Midtown Direct train had a slow-speed
derailment after departing New York’s Penn Station at 10:50 a.m. Monday.
All 300 passengers were reportedly safe and walked back to the station.
