The Village of Lindenhurst is raising dock space rental fees.
The new fees were approved at Tuesday’s village board meeting. Village Administrator Clerk-Treasurer Shawn Cullinane said this is the first time in three years the fees have been raised and that the increase is less than 5 percent.
Village marina fees are increasing from $70 to $72 per foot for residents, with the minimum rising from $700 per slip to $725 per slip. For nonresidents, the premium is increasing from 25 percent to 30 percent.
At Shore Road and Third Avenue, fees for parallel docking are increasing from $22 to $23 per foot for residents and from $28 to $30 per foot for nonresidents.
At Shore Road and South Pecan Street and South Broadway, fees for perpendicular docking are increasing from $550 to $575 per slip for residents and from $700 to $750 per slip for nonresidents.
The increases take effect April 1.
