Dog lovers can check out the Fourth Annual “Dog Day Afternoon Agility Expo and Pet Fair” on Sept. 8 at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.
Sponsored by the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Animal Law Committee and the Suffolk Academy of Law, the family-friendly event includes agility demonstrations by “All Fur Fun Agility” and educational shows. Vendors and two dozen rescue groups will also be at the expo, with adoptable animals. Visitors may bring their leashed, well-behaved dogs to try out the agility course as well.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the college’s quad. Admission is $10 per car, and all proceeds go to the law groups’ Humane Education program and educational programs involving animal-related legal issues.
For additional information, email info@dogdayagilityexpo.com or call 631-265-0155, ext. 204.
