A panel discussion on dating and domestic violence will be held at the Bridgehampton Library next week.

“Breaking the Silence: What Everyone Needs to Know About Dating and Domestic Violence in Our Community,” will include presentations and discussion by representatives of The Retreat, an East End organization that provides safe housing for domestic violence victims and provides education to prevent abuse.

Also speaking will be local  police chiefs and representatives.

The discussion, hosted by the League of Women Voters and open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m.  Monday, Nov. 14, at the library, 2478 Main St. Refreshments will be served at the beginning of the program.
