Domestic violence workshop comes to Islip

Islip Town Clerk Regina Duffy and the support group Women of Substance will host a workshop Feb. 2 designed to educate the public about domestic violence and child abuse.

The workshop will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Islip Town Hall Board Room, 655 Main St., Islip. The workshop will cover how to help someone suspected of being in an abusive relationship.
