Donate children’s books in Islip
The Town of Islip is holding a book drive through Dec. 17. The town is asking residents to donate new and gently used books suitable for children in elementary, intermediate and middle school.
Drop-off locations are: Town Hall, Town Hall West, Brookwood Hall, Tax Receiver’s Office,
Islip Animal Shelter, Brentwood Recreation Center, Lake Ronkonkoma Recreation Center,
St. John the Baptist High School, Commack Road Elementary School, Islip Middle School and Sherwood Elementary School
The town will distribute the books to children involved with town preschool and after-school programs.
