If you were at Super Saturday 13 at Water Mill this weekend, you could have seen one of these stars roaming the bargain booths: hosts Kelly Ripa, "Twilight's" Ashley Greene, Donna Karan and Ariel Foxman, shoppers Beth Stern, Christie Brinkley, Christy Turlington, Edie Falco, Gayle King, Hilary Rhoda, Ingrid Vandebosch, Kelly Klein, Kelly Rutherford, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Mark Feuerstein, Michelle Trachtenberg, Mariska Hargitay, Matthew Settle, Rachel Zoe, Scott Disick, Thalia, Star Jones, Tinsley Mortimer, Alexandra Wentworth, Jessica Hart, Adrienne Bailon, Rudy and Judith Giuliani.

Or you might have been too focused on the shopping to notice. For those who didn’t salivate over $15 Ralph Lauren knit shirts and Donna Karan, Calvin Klein or Catherine Malandrino slashed couture, there was a gourmet lunch and plenty of desserts. Carnival activities kept kids occupied.

The millions raised helped fill the coffers of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Super Saturday was created in 1998 by Karan, the late Liz Tilberis and OCRF president Faith Kates Kogan. Karan has underwritten the event since its founding, and net proceeds raised go directly to OCRF’s research programs. InStyle has been a hosting sponsor since 2001.

A graffiti-clad Karan fielded interviews in front of her Urban Zen tent. “It was started 13 years ago with Liz Tilberis, who was a good friend of mine who had ovarian cancer,” Karan said. “She wanted to raise awareness and inspire change, not only dressing people but addressing their needs at hand. My husband had lung cancer and Liz had ovarian cancer…” Today, ovarian cancer is better understood – and its research funded thanks to their efforts.

There also are a lot of better dressed Hamptonites. Before we started shopping, we wanted to know, Is there one signature piece for fall? “Buy a scarf,” fashion guru Karan told us. “Wrap it around you and you’ll never be in trouble."
