'Doonesbury' cartoonist takes extended leave
Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Garry Trudeau, who took last summer off to work on his Amazon TV show, announced yesterday that he's taking another extended leave to work on "Alpha House." Although this time he'll continue creating new Sunday strips, Trudeau will be offering publishers "Doonesbury" reruns dating back to the 1970s during the week starting March 3, according to distributor Universal Uclick.
