It’s a story like this that gets missed when the FBI raids homes on Long Island for possible connections to the failed Times Square bombing:

Suffolk County police saved eight ducklings that fell into an 18-foot-deep storm drain Thursday at an industrial park in East Setauket. Building management at 24 Research Way should be credited with the rescue.
