The Mississippi native and current Indiana resident has heard the question, 'You're not from around here, are you?' often since signing with the Ducks this winter.

His southern accent may indicate that he is a long way from home but he has fit right in with the Ducks. Originally selected by Cleveland in the ninth round of the 1997 draft, the 33-year-old spent time in the majors with the Twins, Giants, Red Sox, Rockies and Rays. Mohr capped a solid rookie year, in which he hit .269 with 12 home runs and 45 RBIs in 120 games with the Twins, by hitting .417 in the ALCS against the Angels. The rightfielder is batting .321 with seven RBIs for the first-place Ducks.

He may not be from around here, but he is making a home for himself.
