Early birds in Nassau get cheaper golf practice

Nassau residents can get an “early bird” special at the county’s three driving ranges, starting
For a $10 fee, residents will get unlimited refills on buckets of golf balls. The special is available from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday.
The ranges are at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow (516-572-0336), Cantiague Park in Hicksville (516-571-7061) and North Woodmere Park (516-571-7814).
The customary fees, according to the county’s website, are $5 for 40 balls and $7 for 60 balls at Eisenhower and Cantiague and $5 for 40 balls at North Woodmere.
County Executive Edward Mangano said the promotion “provides residents a wonderful opportunity to practice their swing on the finest driving ranges in this area.”
