Farmingdale, Garden City, Shoreham-Wading River and even Portledge won state titles this season. So how are their girls celebrating?

Going to Disney World, of course.

Six of the eight Long Island girls selected for the Champion High School Showcase on July 18-19 hail from those four schools. The games, which are part of the ESPN RISE Games, will be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Disney World.

Eighty players from 19 states were selected to play for four different teams. They were chosen by the U.S. Lacrosse Women's Division Coaches Council, and only seniors were eligible.

There will be pool play on Sunday, July 18 and then the championship/consolation games the following day.

Playing for the Freedom team are Tara Gerstacker of Eastport-South Manor, Kara Mupo of Rocky Point, Chelsey Newman from Shoreham-Wading River, Farmingdale's Melanie Raso and Addie Reilly of Portledge.

On the Liberty team are Garden City teammates Shannon Mangini and Katherine Sullivan, and on Team Pride is Kait Brosco of SWR (pictured above).

The girls' consolation and championship games will be available online at espn3.com
