Babylon's Alyssa Sasuk didn't let Erin Creen's tying, two-run double in the bottom of the seventh get her down Wednesday in the Suffolk Class B softball title game against host Center Moriches.

With the score tied at 5, Sasuk worked out of a none-out, bases-loaded jam to send the game into extra innings. Gwen Donaldson's two-run single highlighted the second-seeded Panthers' six-run eighth during their 11-5 win.

"Going in, I knew I had to get the job done,'' said Sasuk, who pitched seven innings in relief. "One pitch, one out, one inning at a time.''

Donaldson, the Panthers' eighth-grade second baseman, delivered a game-high five RBIs.

"I'm really happy right now,'' Donaldson said. "I'm speechless. I've never been in a game like this before. We all believe in each other.''

Miranda Richards hit a leadoff double and scored on Brianna Goodfellow's single to start the eighth for Babylon (16-5).

The Panthers will face East Rockaway in the semifinal regionals at 4 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph's.

Goodfellow went 2-for-4 with an RBI, two runs and two stolen bases. Nicole Marro's RBI double helped give Babylon a three-run, first-inning lead, before Tori Fahie's three-run homer in the bottom of the inning tied it for the Red Devils (16-5).

Stellar defense, great baserunning and timely hitting from both teams made the championship game one to remember.

"You've got to execute,'' Center Moriches coach Rich Roberts said. "That was the bottom line. They executed.''

Miller Place 10, Eastport-South Manor 9: Tori Carlo scored Dominique Soto from third with a single in the bottom of the 11th inning for No. 1 Miller Place (19-2) in the Class A winner's bracket final.
