EILEEN J. GOGGINDEMOCRATIC
BACKGROUND: Goggin, 53, of Long Beach, is running on the Democratic, Green, Independence and Working Families party lines. She is the principal law clerk for Judge Tammy Robbins in Nassau County Court. Goggin has been on the Long Beach City Council since February 2013. She served as a deputy Nassau County attorney from 2003 to 2010 and as Nassau County Animal Abuse Special Prosecutor from March 2008 to June 2010. Goggin earned a bachelor's degree from Adelphi University in 1983 and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1988. She was admitted to the New York State bar in 1989. She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, chair of its Animal Law Committee and a director of the Long Beach Lawyers' Association.
