White House mood 'defiant,' source says
WASHINGTON — A White House official in an e-mail to Newsday described the mood inside of the East Room on Tuesday night as "defiant."
The official, writing on the condition of anonymity, to speak freely, said Trump not being on the ballot may have impacted voter turnout among his base.
