But instead of preparing to dissect the defense of the NFC rival Dallas Cowboys, Manning is getting ready to host the Guiding Eyes for the Blind Golf event in Westchester.
On Monday, he met with organizers at Mulino's restaurant in White Plains and listened to stories on how dogs from the Guiding Eyes program help people who are blind or visually impaired.
Manning also took time out to talk about his No. 1 job and how the Giants are getting ready for the 2013 season.
"We had a little practice today and worked on the field so I think we are doing all the right things to get back to playing at a high level and getting some guys back healthy. The commitment, the energy, all those things are there," Manning said.
The Guiding Eyes golf fundraiser will take place Monday, June 10, at Mount Kisco Country Club.
This will be the eighth year Eli Manning has hosted the event.
