Famous and fashionable faces packed the VIP Tent for the Grand Prix at the Hampton Classic Sunday afternoon in Bridgehampton. 
Long Island’s own Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti attended for the first time to sing the national anthem, as fashion designer Donna Karan, “The Real Housewives of New York City” stars Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer, baseball great Dave Winfield, Food Network chef Bobby Flay and actress Brooke Shields watched and waited to see some of the world’s best equestrians in the prestigious international show jumping competition. 
“First of all, I love watching the horses more than anything else, honestly they’re amazing animals,” Flay said while taking a break from eating his lobster roll at the Hamptons Magazine table. “This is a very, very fancy situation for me to watch. But what I love about this is there is competition out there with the horses — but there’s also competition with the tables!” 
“It’s wonderful to see the people compete,” Singer said. “And I love looking at the table decor. These tables are over the top.” 
Brooke Shields decorated a table for Firefly Farm, the riding trainers located in Bridgehampton. 
“Oh I glue gunned. I did everything,” said Shields. “We were here since 7:30 so I’m tired, but it’s all been fun, it’s a beautiful event . . . I love a glue gun!” 
Shields was disappointed her table didn’t win the competition, but she said she had a great time watching the competition and shopping in the showgrounds. 
“It’s extraordinary what these horses and riders can do. . . . “ she&nbsp;said. “I just recently started riding again. After 30 years, 
I got the bug again. I will not ever be showing but I will be riding!”

A big night for Beth Stern at The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett! The model and animal rights advocate&nbsp;hosted a fundraiser&nbsp;to support Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center at the North Shore Animal League. Stern and her husband, radio and TV personality Howard Stern, took the stage Saturday to talk about their love for cats. Stern said they’ve fostered “over 700 cats and kittens over the last 5 years,” with Howard Stern adding, “All of them in my house!” 
Howard Stern praised his wife, saying her “inner beauty is amazing” and showed off his blazer “covered in cat fur.” Actor and comedian David Spade performed and late-night TV host Jimmy Fallon jumped on stage with musician Joshua Radin. 
“My good friend David Spade was over last summer with his daughter and he said his daughter loves kittens. And he said I want to do a show for you. ... My friend Joshua Radin, who is my favorite musician and he loves what I do, too, and he spent a day at the foster room, too, in my home.” 
Singer Charlotte Lawrence, the daughter of actress Christa Miller and TV producer Bill Lawrence, also performed. 
Makeup artist Gucci Westman celebrated the launch of her makeup line Westman Atelier with co-host Julianne Moore and guests Rachel Zoe, Molly Sims and Jessica Seinfeld at Duryea’s Lobster Deck in Montauk on Friday. 
Michael Bolton performed his hits at his annual fundraiser produced by Lawrence Scott Events to support Michael Bolton Charities in Water Mill Saturday night. CBS'&nbsp;Chris Wragge was the master of ceremonies. 
A crowd of over 300 coffee fans packed the East Hampton Library Friday night to see former Starbucks chairman Howard Schultz interviewed by Andrew Ross Sorkin. The free event was part of the library’s Tom Twomey Series of lectures. Schultz has a summer home in East Hampton.

Fans flocked to Amagansett to meet Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, who sat together and signed their books at the annual Authors Night to benefit the East Hampton Library. 
Hilaria Baldwin, 34, autographed her healthy living guide, "The Living Clearly Method." Meanwhile Alec Baldwin, 60, signed "You Can’t Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump (A So-Called Parody)." "You Can't Spell" is the&nbsp;new book he co-authored with Kurt Andersen. Alec said&nbsp;Andersen wrote “97 percent&nbsp;of the book” and is the “funniest human being”. 
“I made a joke to someone about writing this book," said Alec Baldwin of chatting with a person "in the publishing business and his staff erupted into applause. I turned to my agent and said, ‘I think we ought to write this book’ ” 
Baldwin also has two movies currently in theatres, "BlacKkKlansman" and Mission Impossible - Fallout." 
He was quick to congratulate Tom Cruise and writer-director Christopher McQuarrie on the film’s “tremendous success” before quipping:&nbsp;“The only thing I really want to say is that the last two 'Mission Impossible' movies that I was in made the most money of all the . . . movies. Coincidence? I don’t know!” 
In addition to the actor's films, books, his podcast and several TV jobs, there’s also a new baby in the Baldwin house. Romeo Baldwin was born in May. 
At home, Hilaria says she’s the busiest Baldwin -- taking care of four&nbsp;kids under 5. Alec Baldwin is also the father of Ireland, 22, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger. 
“[Going from] Three to four [children] is not so bad," Hilaria Baldwin said. "One to two was hard. Two to three was semi-traumatic. And three to four&nbsp;was like nothing ever happened. Wouldn’t you say that’s about right?” she asked her husband. He shook his head.&nbsp;She&nbsp;joked:&nbsp;“When he starts to breastfeed and change diapers we can have a conversation.” 
Also on hand was Dr. Ruth Westheimer, 90, who signed her latest&nbsp;book&nbsp;"Stay or Go:&nbsp;Dr. Ruth's Rules for Real Relationships"&nbsp;and dished out romantic advice, telling us her No. 1 rule&nbsp;is, “Don’t be boring!” 
Geraldo Rivera, 75, autographed many copies of his new memoir, "The Geraldo Show." 
“I’m kind of at the end of my career,” Rivera&nbsp;said. “I wanted to get it all written down because I didn’t want to leave the storytelling to someone else. Now they can write whatever they want to, but my side is on the record and that’s why I wanted to get the record established right now before it was too late.”&nbsp; 
The West Babylon native added he was happy to be back in the Hamptons. Although he said he didn’t spend time on the&nbsp;South Fork growing up.&nbsp;“Oh no, that was way above my pay grade," he said. "I was in Cub Scout camp in Lake Ronkonkoma.”&nbsp; 
Rivera noted he did&nbsp;spend years summering on the&nbsp;East End in the 1970s and '80s, when “the party never stopped.”

Lori Loughlin celebrated her Bella Magazine cover at a white party at the Southampton Social Club on Saturday. It was a happy homecoming for the Hauppauge native, who had her mother, brother and extended family with her. She posed for photos with fans and proudly held up a Hauppauge Athletics T-shirt.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;"I love driving around the old neighborhood reminiscing. ...&nbsp;You know I've lived in California for 30 years but New York&nbsp;will always be my home&nbsp;I don’t think that will ever change," said Loughlin, 54.&nbsp; 
These days Loughlin&nbsp;is busy shooting the sixth season of her Hallmark Channel show "When Calls the Heart." She also stars in the Garage Sale Mysteries&nbsp;movies on the Hallmark Movies &amp; Mysteries channel all month.&nbsp; 
On top of all that, she's also a part of Netflix's "Fuller House" cast, which was nominated for an Emmy. Loughlin&nbsp;says the fan response to the revival has been overwhelming: "It’s great to be back with the 'Full House' family. We’ve always stayed in touch over the years but it’s fun to be working together again ...&nbsp; and we are on the same sound stage that we were on together 30 years ago when we first started the show." 
LIVING A HEALTH LIFE. Beth Stern celebrated&nbsp;all things healthy at the Healthy Guru Wellness &amp; Fitness event presented by KIMA Social Life Magazine at the Southampton Arts Center on Saturday afternoon. 
Stern says she stays healthy by practicing transcendental meditation with her husband, radio and TV personality Howard Stern, as well engaging in physical activity, whether its walking on the beach or doing jumping jacks, every single day. 
Beth and Howard Stern&nbsp;share their Hamptons home with over 20 roommates -- foster cats and kittens.&nbsp;She calls it the "craziest kitten season ever."&nbsp; 
Beth Stern appears on&nbsp;the cover of Social Life Magazine next week. The photos were taken by her husband&nbsp;at the Evelyn Alexander&nbsp;Wildlife Rescue Center in Hampton Bays. She said&nbsp;they&nbsp;"work very well together."&nbsp; 
As the couple&nbsp;approach their 10th wedding anniversary -- and 20 years of being together -- Beth Stern said, "We spend a lot of time alone together, I don't think we get involved really in any of the craziness that our lives could be. We really just like to be together and go out with just a couple here and there. We like each other, we like being alone together, we really do and we share a passion for the animals that we are rescuing. We are just in tune, we're good."

Celebrated chefs from across the country and our East End treated guests to diverse dishes at the prestigious James Beard Foundation’s Chefs and Champagne at Wolffer Estate in Sagaponack Saturday night. The evening’s honoree was Top Chef host and author Padma Lakshmi, who attended the event&nbsp;benefiting&nbsp;the foundation’s programs including scholarship and women’s leadership, with her 8-year-old daughter&nbsp;Krishna. 
“She’s a good little cook, I have to say, and I think the earlier you can get children involved in the food that they eat, the better the chance of giving them good eating habits for the rest of their life,” Lakshmi said. 
Speaking of food habits, Lakshmi keeps it low key when in the Hamptons: “I don’t go out a lot, I pretty much make it to the butcher and to the farm stand and that’s it! I tend to cook a lot here so I really do associate the Hamptons with good food, but food that comes from my stove and my kitchen!” 
“I think the seafood is incredible, the fish, the crabbing, the clams," she continued, "but also I think the produce here is divine. That hinge moment between summer and fall, you can’t beat New England and you can’t beat the Hamptons, the tomatoes, the corn, all the other vegetables, there’s something in the air here! The Hamptons is a great place to get away. I finished writing my memoir here so a lot of artists make their home in the Hamptons for that reason. The light is beautiful, it’s also a nice place to be creative and be quiet and really get a lot accomplished.” 
Lakshmi, 47,&nbsp;made a Hamptons stop fresh off a flight from Hong Kong; she leaves for Italy Monday. She just finished filming the 16th season of "Top Chef" in Kentucky and the finale in Macao. To say she’s on the road a lot is an understatement. 
“It is physically draining, but I wouldn’t have it any other way," the TV show host said. "I think it also allows me to show my daughter other people and other ways of eating … she’s always with me on set and she’s a good little traveler.” 
“Most people dream of that kind of run in television," Lakshmi said. "I’m very lucky and there are so many people you don’t see on Top Chef that work really hard. We just got another Emmy nomination, so we are excited about that!” 
Her best tip for traveling with a child: “I usually have her pack a backpack with me that’s light enough for her to carry but has little tiny containers with different play dough colors, has teeny tiny watercolor sets, a little pad with other activities for her that don’t involve the iPad. It’s easy to stick a kid in front of a movie, which I do too on the plane. But I think if you have them decide what goes in that bag then they’ll be excited to play with those toys or activities when they’re on the plane, and gives you a little free time to work on your computer, read or sleep.” 
For everyone envious of Padma’s elegant eating on Instagram&nbsp;and TV, Padma counters:&nbsp;“I don’t know if I’m that elegant! I grew up as a child in India eating with my hands so I’m innately primed not to spill. There’s a way to eat with your hands to not get food dribbling all over down your wrists, and I think I’m just so terrified I’m going to spill something on my dress. You know, we are the number one food show in the world, but we are still a cable cooking show so we don’t have the budget to have three of everything, so I think I’m just terrified we are going to have to stop filming for half an hour to clean the stain off my dress, so I’m just super careful.&nbsp;There’s no art to it, it’s fear!” 
A 'HOUSEWIVES' REUNION.&nbsp;A cast of characters reunited&nbsp;at former "Real Housewives&nbsp;of New York City" star Jill Zarin’s annual luxury luncheon. This year’s event at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton produced by Ticket2Events was in honor of Jill’s husband Bobby Zarin, who died earlier this year at age 71. Jill’s girlfriends including Dina Lohan, Heather McDonald, "Ladies of London" star Juliet Angus, former "Real Housewives&nbsp;of New Jersey" cast member Kathy Wakile, "Real Housewives of Dallas" star LeeAnne Locken and "Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger all showed their support. 
Zarin said&nbsp;she wanted to host this year’s event to benefit Thyriod Cancer Research because, “Bobby’s like, ‘One more, that’s it!’ I had to do it for him. I didn’t want to stop because it’s really for him, I always did it for him and he loved it and he’s here and he kept the rain away and he probably wants me to promote my rugs -- Jill Zarin Rugs!” 
Although Zarin&nbsp;had a smile on her face, she admitted&nbsp;the past few months haven’t been easy. 
“Listen, there are days I can’t get out of bed," she said, "but they get less and less and things have gotten better. And I’ve started to date and life goes on and that’s what Bobby wanted. And it’s kind of like seasons, the winter season was clearly the mourning, the spring is when you kind of come out and the summer is when you start to live again. And that’s what I would recommend to anyone going through what I’m going through, that it doesn’t have to take a year, you have to do what’s comfortable for you and don’t let anyone tell you differently.” 
Zarin, 54,&nbsp;said&nbsp;she’s still connected to all of her fellow "RHONY" cast-mates.&nbsp;As far as coming back to the show, “I don’t know more than anybody they haven’t asked me back . . .&nbsp;I would go back as a friend, I would like to think I would if the offer is right because my life is good.” 
The event featured products&nbsp;from several new female-run companies.

Justin Timberlake was in the Hamptons, singing and dancing for a crowd including Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx and Pharrell Williams (to whom Timberlake later bowed while sharing the stage) at Ron Perelman’s annual Apollo in the Hamptons bash Saturday night. 
Lady in red Beth Stern celebrated her annual swimsuit spread, shot by husband Howard, in Social Life Magazine at a private Southampton estate Saturday. The soiree included a seafood feast by Hawaii’s Turtle Bay chef James Aptakin, who was flown in to cook for the occasion. Always a pro, Beth Stern posed for photos and put on a smile — hours later, the animal rights advocate posted on social media about the passing of her beloved cat, Charlie. 
It was a huge book bash to benefit the East Hampton Library. Celebrity scribes and best selling authors including Laurie Gelman (whose husband, Michael, took photos), News 12 Long Island’s Stone Grissom, Elizabeth Vargas, Stephen Kennedy Smith, Dick Cavett, “Ladies of London” star Marissa Hermer, celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli, Jessica Seinfeld and six-time Emmy winner Alan Alda did a massive meet and greet at Author’s Night. Ryan Seacrest added hosting in the Hamptons to his lengthy resume, taking the stage Saturday at the Hamptons Party for Pink for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation created by survivor Maria Baum. The two-part fundraising event started with a morning paddle in Sag Harbor with fitness guru Tracy Anderson and power paddle couple Gabby Reece and Laird Hamilton.
It was followed by an evening celebration in Fairview Farm at Mecox where Questlove DJ’d, Taylor Dayne performed and supporters Kendra Scott, Jill Martin, Rosanna Scotto, Charlie Walk and Samantha Yanks celebrated the mission to find a cure. 
“I moved to the East Coast about three months ago from Los Angeles and I always heard these rumors these folklore about Hampton paddle parties,” Seacrest told the crowd. “This is not what I envisioned. Needless to say I am both pleasantly surprised and a bit relieved that this is where we are.”

Fashion’s finest and famous families shopped the (what felt like a fall) day away at Super Saturday to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance. 
Event creator Donna Karan, along with designers Michelle Smith for MILLY and Nicole Miller, “Real Housewives” LuAnn D’Agostino &amp; Tinsley Mortimer, QVC’s Jill Martin, former New York City Mayor Rudy and his wife Judith Giuliani, and TV hosts Kelly Ripa and David Muir were in attendance to scoop up sales. 
Brooke Shields, Rachel Zoe, June Ambrose and Molly Sims also brought their families to the designer discount sale and family fair and Lyss Stern’s Camp Divalysscious.
Donna Karan hit the red carpet with her grandchildren who said they call her “Granny” or “to spice it up, it’s Granny K.”
Karan, a Cedarhurst native, got choked up when talking about the reason she started this event 20 years ago for Liz Tilberis, her dear friend and an editor at Harper’s Bazaar who died from ovarian cancer.
“Liz was such an amazing woman and I would do anything for her. Yeah, I really miss her, it’s hard. I cannot believe it’s almost 25 years that we started. It was incredible. She was an amazing woman . . . .”
Molly Sims smiled on the step and repeat with her husband Scott Stuber, and two of her three kids, Brooks and Scarlett.
“Every supermodel likes a deal. I’m not going to lie, every supermodel likes a good sample sale especially when it goes back to charity.”

Guests happy to see Bobby Zarin out of the hospital and in the Hamptons on Saturday with ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ wife Jill at Michael Bolton’s “An Evening Under the Stars.” The event and private concert produced by Larry Scott and hosted by Fox News’ host Kimberly Guilfoyle and CBS news anchor Chris Wragge in Sagaponack Saturday, raised money for The Michael Bolton Charities. 
Meanwhile, famous faces battered up at the annual Artists and Writers Softball Game in East Hampton on Saturday. Wragge, Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein, CBS weather anchor Lonnie Quinn, and writers Mike Lupica and Ken Auletta all played in the big game. The crowd went wild for the surprise appearance by two-time World Series champ and all-star Lenny Dykstra. The writers beat the artists 9 to 6.
In Montauk, Jenny Lewis performed at The Surf Lodge Saturday with Huntington native Ralph Macchio in the crowd. Next weekend the Montauk hot spot celebrates 10 seasons with a weekend-long party and performances by Lauryn Hill on Friday, Youngr on Saturday and Ben Harper on Sunday.

Hip-hop heavyweights, along with Super Bowl winner Darrelle Revis, Tony- and Grammy-winner Cynthia Erivo, Star Jones, Soledad O’Brien, actors Simone and Dorian Missick, Miss Lawrence and more than 600 guests came out to support Russell Simmons’ Art for Life Gala at Fairview Farm in Bridgehampton. The event honored Public Enemy’s Chuck D, Uber chief brand officer Bozoma Saint John, artist Sanford Biggers, BET’s Stephen G. Hill and Esi Eggleston Bracey. (Guests enjoyed a surprise performance by Chuck D and the evening’s entertainment, Cynthia Erivo.) 
The 18th annual gala raised over $1.1 Million dollars for arts education. 
Simmons showed up with his two teenage daughters, Aoki Lee and Ming Lee. 
“It’s pretty amazing, I mean you watch them grow, you let go, they just become, flowers that blossomed . . . I’m proud of them, they’re A students, I mean, I couldn’t have hoped for better daughters.”
And Simmons was also impressed with Chuck D, admittedly “fan-boying” over the honoree. 
“Chuck D is my favorite artist of all time and so honoring him means everything to me,” Simmons said.

Grey’s Anatomy star Kelly McCreary is taking on a new role in Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theatre. 
“We’re on our shooting hiatus for a few months and I wanted to find my way back to my first love of theater, so here I am at Bay Street!” said McCreary, who turns 36 today.
McCreary is playing seamstress Esther Mills in what she calls “one of my favorite plays ever,” “Intimate Apparel,” by Tony- and Pullitzer-nominated Lynn Nottage.
The play is set in 1905 New York City. Nottage’s “Intimate” began its Bay Street run on July 4 and ends July 30. 
McCreary says she has spent 12 hours a day in tech rehearsal and is even taking a sewing class to prepare for the role. She admits she enjoys sewing, but stitching up patients in the fictional Grey-Sloan Hospital’s OR is a different story. The actor admits she’s “squeamish” and says, “there’s something about wearing the mask, I feel so claustrophobic, there have been a couple of times where it’s gotten a little dicey in the OR! . . . I’m doing it, then on ‘cut’ I’m over here taking deep breaths!”
McCreary doesn’t get much of a summer break. 
“The day after I leave here I’ll be driving from the airport to set, which I can’t wait to do, it’s an incredible and enormous privilege to have my life so rich with wonderful work.”
“I like to stay busy I like to stay creative and you know life is short you’ve got to get all the great characters in while you can.”

This weekend, former "Real Housewives" from around the country gathered at Jill and Bobby Zarin’s Southampton Estate for the annual Luxury Luncheon. The yearly event’s mission is to support The Eric Trump Foundation for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The housewives, who are generally known for their crazy antics on the television screen, came out to support a good cause, and had a "drama-free" day. 
In attendance was Cynthia Bailey of Atlanta who got a couple of days off from filming the show to attend the event with her accessories line. Similarly, Kristen Taekman of New York made an appearance with her brand, Pop of Color. Other housewives who came out to show their support included Vicki Gunvalson of Orange County, California, Kathy Wakile from New Jersey and Kelly Bensimon, Cindy Barshop and Ramona Singer of New York. 
This was the fourth year that the Zarins hosted the annual event that helps children who are suffering with cancer. Bobby Zarin is a two-time cancer survivor. 
“We know what it’s like to have a beautiful life together which we’re so lucky to have but children are innocent, said Jill Zarin. "Anything I can do to raise money -- I know I’m good at socializing, networking and introducing people.
