Roslyn High School’s Emilia Bunich

Roslyn High School’s Emilia Bunich names dancing and performing among the passions and joys in her life.

She also attends the Long Island School for the Arts which has opened up an entirely new outlook toward dance and performance. Her dance and performance experiences include ballet, modern dance, and jazz; all of which are important for a successful dance and performing career.

Emilia studies ballet at the Long Island Ballet Academy in Sea Cliff and has had various roles in the Nutcracker performances at the Academy. This past summer she received a scholarship for the Point Park Summer Dance Program. In addition, she was accepted to the ABT Summer Intensive Dance Program for Detroit two years ago and also to the Pre-Professional Dance Program. Emilia has also had the good fortune to sing at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC  for the 10th anniversary of 9/11 with the Puen Cantores Choir.
