Erin Neville's goal leads Commack girls
Erin Neville scored off a corner kick with 12 seconds left yesterday to lift No. 8 Commack to a 1-0 win over ninth-seeded Deer Park in a Suffolk Class AA girls soccer first-round game.
Samantha Miller earned the shutout with 15 saves, including back-to-back saves on consecutive shots with 15 minutes left in the match for Commack (10-5), which will play at No. 1 West Islip in a quarterfinal on Wednesday.
