Farmingdale car show helping good causes
The Farmingdale Rotary Breakfast Club Foundation will host a classic car show Aug. 7 to benefit various community causes.
Preshow vehicle registration is $15, and $20 the day of the show. Antique, custom and street cars are welcome at the event, which will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. in Farmingdale Village’s municipal parking lot No. 2, behind Bollinger’s restaurant at 282 Main St.
Trophies will be awarded to the most popular cars entered, and each of the first 100 to arrive will receive a plaque.
Proceeds will be used to provide meals for the needy, scholarships to local students and to support Rotary International health charities.
