Ronkonkoma-based radio group JVC Broadcasting will produce six concerts — one of which will feature a Joan Jett performance at a charity concert for veterans — at Brookhaven Amphitheater in Farmingville in July, August and September, the town and company announced Thursday.

The concerts are scheduled for:
July 31: performers to be determined.

Aug. 20: Beatstock 2011, an all-day pop music festival featuring 30 acts, including Kat DeLuna, Taio Cruz and C&C Music Factory.

Aug. 21: Party in the Park, featuring “many legendary Long Island-based classic rock performers,” organizers said.

Sept. 18: Vets Rock Charity Concert, featuring Joan Jett, Eric Church, Plainview native Lisa Matassa and others.

Sept. 24: Party 105 Free Style Dance Party, with performers to be determined.

Sept. 27: performers to be determined.

Town officials said ticket prices will range from about $25 to $40.

JVC Broadcasting will pay the town $60,000 to host five of the concerts and the fee will be waived for the charity concert, town officials said. The town will likely net another $40,000 from its cut of ticket, merchandise and food sales, town officials said.

JVC Broadcasting's radio stations include Classic Rock WRCN / 103.9 FM, Top 40 Dance Party / 105, My Country / 96.1 FM and LaFiesta / 98.5 FM.
