Kayla McKeveny, Sachem East
The senior totaled eight points last week, including scoring a career-high four goals in the second half of the Flaming Arrows' 6-0 win over Whitman on Monday. That performance followed a game in which she had three goals. McKeveny now leads Long Island with 16 points.
Preston Tansill, Locust Valley (pictured)
The junior tied a career-high with three goals and had an assist in Locust Valley's 6-1 win over Wheatley on Friday. It was Tansill's first time receiving extensive playing time since returning from ACL and meniscus surgery.
Carly Olsen, Miller Place
The goalie made 13 saves in the Panthers' 3-0 shutout of defending Suffolk Class B champion Sayville on Monday. On Friday, she made three saves in a 1-0 win over previously undefeated Rocky Point.
Liz Kane, Garden City
Credit is due to the senior defender on a young unit that still hasn't given up a goal this season. In fact, the Trojans have allowed just 10 shots on goal through five games.
Sophia DePasquale, East Hampton
She totaled five goals last week, including a four-goal explosion against Greenport/Southold/Shelter Island on Saturday. DePasquali helped lead the Bonackers to wins both of their games.
