Even for those fantasy football players that have been eliminated, pay attention to this lesson that will help you all. It is integral - especially once the bye weeks are over - to handcuff your top running backs. In some situations there isn't a clear handcuff, but the Adrian Peterson situation last week is a perfect example. There is no reason why a Peterson owner would not have had Toby Gerhart before last week.

Same with Maurice Jones-Drew owners. Rashad Jennings has seen his role increase in the offense and scored in three of the last four games. Jones-Drew sat out the last two series last week after rushing for just 46 yards against a porous Colts run defense and hasn't practiced this week because of a knee injury.

If Jennings is available, grab him now and he becomes an excellent play against the Redskins if Jones-Drew sits out. The Jaguars are expected to announce his status Friday.

Here are good plays in Week 16.

Jon Kitna (Cowboys, QB): The Cowboys have scored at least 27 points in six straight games and Kitna has four 300-yard games in eight starts. Even in the three starts he passed for less than 200 yards, he totaled five touchdowns. The Cardinals pose a great matchup.

Matt Schaub (Texans, QB): Has 10 consecutive games of at least 32 pass attempts, including 116 the last two weeks. The Broncos have allowed 25 passing touchdowns. LeGarrette Blount (Buccaneers, RB): The Seahawks have allowed at least 30 points in six of the last eight games. Blount has two consecutive 100-yard games with a TD in each.

Ryan Torain (Redskins, RB): The Redskins fell behind early last week and Torain had just 11 carries for 53 yards, but he did catch five passes for 48 yards with a TD. He'll get the bulk of the carries against a Jaguars defense that struggled against the run last week.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis (Patriots, RB): Don't look at last week's game. The Pats had the ball less than 20 minutes and were trailing, so Green-Ellis had just six carries. Remember, he has 12 TDs.

Mike Tolbert (Chargers, RB): Still a good RB2 getting goal-line carries despite Ryan Mathews getting more touches.

Brandon Marshall (Dolphins, WR): Scored in two straight games and the Lions have allowed 22 passing touchdowns.

Brandon Lloyd (Broncos, WR): He doesn't get hurt by Tim Tebow and faces the worst-ranked pass defense in Houston. Lloyd scored last week on a poorly thrown ball.

Santana Moss (Redskins, WR): Moss is heating up at the right time with 15 catches for 154 yards with three touchdowns the last two games. It will continue against a horrible Jaguars pass defense.

Mike Williams (Buccaneers, WR): The Seahawks have allowed 26 passing touchdowns and Williams is a goal-line target.

Mike Williams (Seahawks, WR): Williams had eight catches last week and the Buccaneers defense has been hammered by injuries.

Owen Daniels (Texans, TE): Daniels looks healthy with nine catches for 136 yards the last two weeks.
