The Wyandanch Volunteer Fire Co. responds just before 4 a.m. Friday to a car on fire outside a house on Birch Street in Wyandach. When firefighters arrived the vehicle's passenger area and rear section were engulfed. Firefighters used one hose line to extinguish the fire in about 15 minutes with no reported injuries.
