Fire engulfs Valley Stream IHOP

A fire engulfed an IHOP restaurant on Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream early Saturday morning. Firefighters were called to the scene just before 7 a.m.
According to the Nassau County Police Department, all eastbound lanes of Sunrise Highway were closed at Scranton Avenue due to the fire. They have since been reopened.
No injuries were reported.
