State Sen. John Flanagan is going virtual.

The East Northport Republican, above, is holding an online town-hall forum Friday on his website, flanagan.nysenate.gov .

The virtual chat is to start at 4 p.m. and last for 30 minutes, Flanagan said in a news release.

Constituents may submit questions in advance by going to Flanagan’s website and clicking on the “Virtual Q-AND-A” link.

“Due to time constraints, I may be unable to respond to every question submitted during the event, but every question submitted will be read and may be used during the session regardless of whether the resident joins the live chat,” Flanagan said in a statement.

“Anyone unable to join the live chat will be able to read the entire transcript, which will be available on my website after the meeting is concluded.”

Flanagan is chairman of the Senate Education Committee and has been active in securing state funding for the demolition of 15 buildings at the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center site.

He said his website also includes an updated survey in which residents can respond to questions about state and local issues.
