Floyd's Bob Hodgson a Hall of Famer

Bob Hodgson, a revered high school basketball coach who died last March 17 at the age of 61 after complications from a heart attack, is being inducted in the William Floyd High School Hall of Fame on Saturday.
The ceremony will take place during halftime of the Colonials’ boys basketball game against Commack, which begins at 2 p.m. Hodgson won 265 games and three county championships at Floyd, where he coached his sons Rob, Rex and Ryan. Rob Hodgson has taken over the program and is doing his father proud, guiding the Colonials to victories in their first five games.
