Forum for Island Park businesses affected by Sandy

The Island Park Chamber of Commerce is hosting a town meeting Wednesday night about government assistance available to businesses affected by superstorm Sandy.
The open meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Lincoln Orens Middle School, on 150 Trafalgar Blvd. in Island Park.
Representatives from several government agencies will be there to discuss the different types of relief available to businesses in Island Park, including new legislation and government programs available to businesses. Representatives of local elected officials are also expected to attend.
Chamber of Commerce board members will discuss the Island Park Residential and Business Relief Fund, Inc., a relief fund created for the benefit of residents and businesses in Island Park.
The doors open at 7 p.m. to allow attendees to submit written questions. If there is time, organizers will open up questioning to the audience.
