Francesca Gray, of Huntington High School is one of the May Scholar Artists

Francesca Gray, a Huntington High School senior, has always had a love for art.  Her passion for art and art-making began at an early age when she volunteered as a student docent at the Heckscher Museum of Art while in elementary school. She has had her work featured at the Huntington District Art Shows, where she has won numerous blue ribbons.

Throughout her high school career, Francesca’s award-winning artwork has been featured in many art shows and competitions including the Huntington Arts Council’s High Arts Showcase and Heckscher Museum’s Long Island’s Best Young Artist Exhibition. Francesca is also the co-president of Tri-M and a member of the Art, National, Spanish, English, and Math Honor Societies. She plans to study music education and/or performance in her college career
