A Rockville Centre man has just the right medicine to lift the spirits of patients who are waiting in their doctor's waiting room.
Frank Scafuri recently made an appointment to see his doctor about a pain in his neck. As the Julliard School of Music alum sat in the waiting room, he was suddenly struck by an idea.
"I said, 'This is so boring, sitting there with all of these people. What if I started singing a big Broadway song?'"
Scafuri did just that. He hired a video crew, and now the clip of him sharing his infectious vibe has gotten nearly 10,000 views on YouTube.
When the father of two isn't working, he also teaches voice lessons in his basement studio.
