Senior Cat Franzone went 3-for-4 with career-highs of three homers and seven RBIs to lead Bay Shore to a 14-3 win over Floyd Friday in a Suffolk League I/II softball crossover. Bay Shore is 11-0.

Centereach 13, Copiague 1: Senior Cassie Martinez was 3-for-4 with a career-high seven RBIs for Centereach (4-6) in League III.

Plainedge 11, Division 0: Junior Michele Daubman (4-for-4) threw a one-hitter, walked none and struck out a career-high 18 for Plainedge (10-1) in a Conference ABC-I/II crossover.

Valley Stream South 1, Carle Place 0: Ashley Tkacsik hit a single with two outs to score Tricia Zarro in the bottom of the sixth for South (4-7) in a Conference ABC-I/II crossover.

Glen Cove 14, Valley Stream North 6: Kayla Morrissey went 5-for-5 with three RBIs and hit for the cycle for Glen Cove (10-1) in a Conference ABC-III/IV crossover.

Mineola 18, Elmont 6: Erin Etherson went 4-for-5 with two home runs, including a grand slam, and six RBIs for Mineola (6-3), which hit five home runs in a Conference V/VI crossover.

St. John the Baptist 5, Our Lady of Mercy 4: Kaitlin Pescitelli hit an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to win it for SJB (6-2) in CHSAA.

BASEBALLHalf Hollow Hills East 4, Smithtown East 3: Tom D'Alessandro hit a solo home run in the top of the eighth to give Hills East (4-5) a 4-3 lead in League III.East Islip 4, Newfield 3: Kyle Knoth singled in Mike Apuzzo with one out in the bottom of the eighth to win it for East Islip (3-6) in League III.

Southampton 6, Glenn 5: Ricky Wesnofske singled with two outs in the bottom of the eighth and scored on two errors to win it for Southampton (4-0) in League VII. Collin Buoniello struck out six in 62/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Wantagh 10, South Side 8: Matt Benedetto hit a two-run homer to give Wantagh (6-3) a 10-8 lead in Conference ABC-I.

Division 10, Garden City 7: Mike Cruz went 3-for-3 with three home runs and six RBIs to lead Division (6-3) in Conference A-I. Manhasset 16, Hewlett 2: Lukas Pracher went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBIs for Manhasset (4-4-1) in Conference A-II.St. Dominic 10, St. John the Baptist 6: Lou Lambros singled in Tommy Grillo to give St. Dominic (5-4), which trailed 6-2 going into the inning, a 7-6 lead in the top of the ninth in CHSAA.
