Free brain scans in the Hamptons begin Friday

A nonprofit will offer free brain scans in the Hamptons during a seven-day period starting Friday.
The Brain Tumor Foundation will offer MRI’s from its mobile unit at the Bridgehampton Commons Shopping Mall. The event is the kickoff of a nationwide tour of the mobile brain scan center.
Anyone with an appointment can come in Friday through Thursday, Aug. 29, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
This is the first time that the Brain Tumor Foundation has offered the screening outside of the five boroughs, according to the nonprofit.
The week of testing is being sponsored by restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow and the Chodorow Family.
