The one-hour course will be held at the North Bellmore Library, 1551 Newbridge Rd., from 10 to 11 a.m. CPR experts from Bellmore-Merrick EMS will instruct residents on how to give emergency CPR.
Program participants will learn hands-only CPR techniques from a certified CPR instructor, and will be able to practice CPR chest compressions on a mannequin. Automated external defibrillator demonstrations also will be performed.
