Oyster Bay Town will offer free firewood for residents beginning Friday and this weekend and continuing until mid-March.

Residents can come to the town highway yard at 150 Miller Place in Syosset after 3 p.m. on Friday and between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday to pick up a trunk-full of cut, but not split, wood. Vehicles with commercial plates are excluded.
