Long Island Cares and State Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo Jr. (R-Merrick) will partner to distribute free food and supplies in Seaford and Massapequa today and Wednesday, respectively, to those affected by superstorm Sandy.

The distribution today will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Seaford Harbor School, 3500 Bayview St., Seaford. Wednesday it will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Temple Sinai of Massapequa, 270 Clocks Blvd., Massapequa.

Residents will be able to obtain nonperishable food, water, diapers and baby wipes, cleaning products, and paper goods such as napkins, paper towels and toilet paper, as well as school supplies.
