A free KidPix photo ID program will be held Sept. 26 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Malverne Library at 61 St. Thomas Place.

The event sponsored by Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano will provide participating families with a wallet-sized ID card that includes the child’s name, physical description, contact information and photograph. The child’s fingerprint is also included on the back of the card. If a child is missing, parents can give the card to law enforcement officials. The cards are processed at the event.
