State Sen. Charles Fuschillo Jr. (R-Merrick) and Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano will sponsoring a free senior ID card program in North Merrick.

The program will be held Friday from noon to 3 p.m. at the North Merrick Library, 1691 Meadowbrook Rd. All county residents ages 65 and older are eligible to participate and receive a free senior ID card, officials said. No appointments are necessary.

The wallet-sized senior ID card includes a photo and the holder’s personal data, physician’s contact information and emergency contact phone numbers.
